The Stellar Awards are, hands down, the mecca of everything gospel.
Imagine at least 10 concerts in two days, all leading up to the major event. That’s what Stellar Awards weekend was this year, but doubled. From independent and indie artists to newcomers and established vets, there was a little something for everybody whether you preferred contemporary, traditional or rap music. In it all, Jesus was definitely in each place. Each place, which was only a teaser to the 31st Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on February 20, when Anthony Brown made history by winning 10 awards in one night, Charles Jenkins gave an outstanding performance of “War” and more. It was definitely a night to remember.
