Nothing screams “holiday cheer” like Christmas music and family, and Charles Jenkins is channeling both this season with new material.
The pastor/singer has produced an hour-long musical scheduled to hit TV in December called “Holiday Praise.”
The special, recorded at the historic Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, boosts holiday performances by Deitrick Haddon (The Christmas Song”), Jonathan McReynolds (“Mary, Did You Know?”), Brian Courtney Wilson (“This Christmas”), Erica Campbell, Tasha Page-Lockhart and more. It airs Dec. 3, 2016 – Jan. 1, 2017 on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates, and December 24 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on WGN.
In addition to joining the above lineup himself, Charles Jenkins also recently recruited his family to join him in a music video for his new song, “Christmas Music,” that dropped on Thanksgiving Day. Take a look:
