Israel Houghton is headed on tour! “The Road to DeMaskUs Tour” includes 12-city tour that kicks off in Chicago on September 27 and continues through the fall, wrapping up on October 13 in Jacksonville, FL.
A press release states: Inspiring crowds worldwide in astounding worship experiences from live albums recorded in the U.S., Africa, and Asia, Houghton continues to break musical boundaries in releasing both solo studio work, and as the leader of Israel & New Breed, his band and vocal ensemble. The critically-acclaimed artist, songwriter, producer, filmmaker, and worship leader creates a more intimate setting of worship with listeners on this latest tour, which will include a mix of solo outings and performances with New Breed. Featuring the lead single “Reckless Love,” Houghton created the Road to DeMaskUs album and tour to be about freedom. Crafting a wide musical palette across genres from contemporary Christian to gospel and worship that has established Houghton as one of the most influential artists today, the Road to DeMaskUs reveals a personal, powerful, and transformational project that has been years in the making.
