Karen Clark Sheard Joins Xscape On Stage in Detroit [VIDEO]

It’s only right that when in Detroit and sampling the legendary Clark Sisters, you bring one of them on stage to help perform the song.

Legends in their own right, Xscape did just that, inviting Detroit-native Karen Clark Sheard to sing “Is My Living In Vain”earlier this week and her daughter, Kierra Sheard, was there to watch!

“[Karen Clark Sheard] is my number 1 inspiration,” she wrote on Instagram. “There’s no one like her. Thanks Xscape for being the legends that you are and having my mommy (another legend) to join you! So much power on the stage!”

This weekend was a complete blast! To top it off, I had the chance to see a group of women #xscape, who I listened to in elementary school, love on my mother! So much respect for the strong comeback, presence, and more! #ImObsessedwithMyMother God is amazing and He further proves that their work wasn't in vain. ???????????????? #GOAT
