Tiff Joy isn’t resting on her success of her recent Billboard No. 1 hit “Release” with Ricky Dillard & New G. The Chicago native has dropped a new praise and worship song, “You Are God Alone.”
The song brings a warmhearted order of faith. Tiff Joy brings to the table a different sound with her raspy texture voice. She grew up in the church as the daughter of the preacher of her Chicago-area church. Afterwards, Joy’s debut album surfaced with a Top 30 single, “The Promise.” She then returned in 2020 with another megahit, “Release,” which also rose to No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart.
When asked what inspired Joy to write her new single “You Alone Are God,” she stated that “it was just the desire to speak of how big and great God is, by reciting so many of his names and how He is all of that and more! That’s what the real impetus was for the song.”
With Covid-19, along with the other problems in our community, Joy was excited to drop this single to encourage others to stay positive and to keep faith with all of these tribulations.
