“Sometimes it feels like God is a million miles away,” is an accurate line from the new The Case For Christ book-turned-movie based on the true story of award-winning investigative journalist and Christian author Lee Strobel. We know of God and His power, but it takes a great amount of faith to put our trust in something we can’t physically feel. Or, so we think…
It’s easy to forget God when we’re at our high points and it’s easy to miss Him when we hit low points, but if we take a step back and reevaluate the little things in the middle (sometimes as simple as waking up to see another day), that’s God.

The movie hops straight to that point in setting up the scene that explains how Strobel’s wife came to Christ. And as instantly as she felt the presence of God, Lee backed away before his research to prove God false actually turned him into a believer. Many questions arise: If God does not exist, what is there to research? Does research show atheists believe in a “God” and choose not to follow?
The only real answer is faith.
Starring Mike Vogel (The Help), Erika Christensen (Parenthood) and more, the Pure Flix film hits theaters April 7. Listen below as Strobel discusses his transition from atheism to Christianity and turning The Case For Christ book into a movie.
