On August 17, Bishop TD Jakes debuted the first episode of his brand new talk show, the TD Jakes Show. It aired at 3 p.m. in his hometown of Dallas, as well in Atlanta, Minneapolis and Cleveland and will run for a trial period of four weeks.
The show sort of resembles that Dr. Phil and Oprah type of daytime television where issues of every day people are put on the table and evaluated for solution. Episode one focused on parents who’ve used social media to publicly shame their children.
