There’s a new Disney movie coming next year: A Wrinkle In Time.
Starring Chris Pine, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Oprah, Storm Reid & more, A Wrinkle In Time, follows the time-traveling story of Madeleine L’Engle‘s 1962 novel about lightness, darkness and the power of love.
Love is an important highlight in the legacy of the author, L’Engle (1918-2007), who served as a Sunday school teacher and worked as a librarian at Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City for almost 30 years. She loved her family and ministry, and in between, wrote over 60 books to satisfy her love for writing.
First picked up as a screenplay by Jennifer Lee, the new visual of L’Engle’s futuristic novel will be produced by Jim Whitaker and Catherine Hand, with Doug Merrifield as executive producer and Ava Duvernay (Queen Sugar, Selma, 13th) as director.
A Wrinkle In Time hits theaters March 9, 2018.
