Chance the Rapper hit SNL for a second time this past weekend (December 17); this go-round, for a Christmas special.
He performed “Finish Line/Drown” off his Coloring Book project and in between getting his Kirk Franklin on with background vocals by Third Story, Chance also gave a major birthday shout out to Jesus.
Acknowledging the reason for the season, Chance sang “Jesus it’s your birthday. Happy Birthday Jesus.” (see video up top)
He continued the show with a performance of “Same Drugs” and joined Keenan Thompson and Leslie Jones for a “Jingle Barack” parody of Run DMC’s “Christmas In Hollis” celebrating President Obama’s last Christmas in the White House.
