Have you heard? The Museum of the Bible is being built in Washington, D.C. and will feature authentic artifacts straight from Israel.
Last week, the Israel Antiquities Authority agreed to release a selection of items that will be displayed in a gallery on the top floor of the upcoming museum. Specific artifacts are still being negotiated.
As of today, the bible museum holds a few Torah scrolls, rare printed bibles and cuneiform tablets as old as Abraham.
The Museum of the Bible opens by the National Mall in 2017.
