Brian Courtney Wilson Attends 12th Annual Black Sacred Music Symposium

Brian Courtney Wilson, last week, hit the stage at his University of Illinois alma mater where he was also invited as a guest faculty member for a four-day Black Sacred Music Symposium on the study and performance of black, sacred music traditions.

The 12th annual conference went down on February 19 – 22 at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and featured conference founder Dr. Ollie Watts Davis, The Jupiter Quartet, and more.

Wilson’s latest album, Worth Fighting For, is available in stores now. Watch a bunch of symposium members sing a verse from the single of the same name:

Dr. Davis helping us to get it all the way right! She says the song makes her dance. #worthfightingfor
