Lonnie Hunter Says Goodbye to Radio

Today, Stellar award-winner and gospel radio host Lonnie Hunter announced the end of his syndicated “Lonnie Hunter Show” after six years on-air.

The last show airs on Sept. 25, 2015.

    Can’t believe they just let him go like that… nobody can replace Lonnie Hunter. Who’s going to take Willie Mo’s time slot? Can’t help thinking the station did this just for $, trying to get younger DJ’s… FAIL.

    ^^^ Yep. I wish Lonnie all the best and I’m happy for his new career, but this doesn’t excuse that the radio station did wrong. I’ll miss him on the radio I hope he goes on XM or something, he’ll be treated better there.

    Forgot to add; there’s an interview posted on youtube – Thursday I think – Lonnie told the interviewer “When I found out I was leaving…”, I was like what? How do you find out you’re leaving? He was fired for no reason. He’s much better off elsewhere than putting up with that nonsense.
